Ways to get involved
There are many ways you can support our mission — pick the one that fits you best.
Volunteer
Mentor a student through a course, teach a workshop in your subject, review project work, or help with the operations behind the programmes. Most volunteers give a few hours a month, remotely. Tell us what you know and when you are free, and we will match you to something real.
Partner
Schools, universities, businesses, and NGOs work with us to widen what our students can reach — course content, exam preparation, venues, equipment, internships, and scholarship routes. Our current partners are UWC, Coursera, and IICA.
Donate
Programmes are free to every student, and stay that way because donors carry the cost: the learning platform, course materials and certificates, scholarships for the programmes that select participants, and the coordinators who run them in Haiti.
Speak
Our students rarely meet someone doing the job they are aiming at. A single honest hour about your work, how you got there, and what you would do differently changes what a student believes is available to them. ESLP and our course cohorts both host guest speakers.

EdLight Initiative is a not-for-profit corporation registered in Canada (Corporation No. 1376443-5). We do not yet hold registered-charity status, so we cannot issue tax receipts — we would rather say so before you give than after.
